Ask for a change in your own words
Tell CitedSEO what to change in an article, the way you'd tell a writer. It makes that change, checks the article again and shows it to you.

Open the article in Articles, press Ask for changes and say what to change, as you would to a writer ("Make it shorter", "Remove the paragraph on pricing"). Press Ask for the change: CitedSEO makes that change, checks the article again, and shows the new version on the article page.

Ask for changes is at the top of the article page once the article is written. While an article shows Writing, the button is hidden until it's done.
What you can ask for
- Take something out: a paragraph, a list, a table.
- Reword it: change a sentence, or make the intro shorter.
- A different length: "Make it shorter" sets a new word count, and Shape vs what ranks then measures the article against the length you asked for.
- Links: add a link to an address you name, or to one of your own pages; change or take out a link that's there.
- Images: make one again from a new description ("Change the second image to a teapot on a table"), or take it out. A new image is made in your image style from Settings › Brand.
CitedSEO changes only what you asked about. Every other sentence, figure and link stays as it was, unless a check later finds something to fix.
What happens next
- A message confirms it: "I’m making that change". The article shows as Writing until it's checked again.
- CitedSEO runs the same checks as for a new article. Your request becomes one of them, listed under Checked before publishing, so if the first try falls short, the fixes finish it.
- Any new claim goes through the fact-check like any other.
The live page on your site doesn't change until the new version is published.
