How the free trial works
Your trial runs the whole product on your site. Here's where to see when it ends, and what happens then.

Your trial starts at the last step of adding your first site, and everything CitedSEO does runs during it. Settings › Billing shows when your trial ends and what you'll pay after it. Add a card before then and your plan carries on; if there's no card when it ends, your trial pauses and everything is kept.
Where to see your trial
Settings › Billing shows a Free trial pill, the monthly price your plan becomes ("1 site × $99, after your trial"), and Trial ends with the date. While there's no card on your plan, the sidebar's setup card also has an Add a card step, with the time left beside it.
Each account gets one trial. Only owners and admins can see Billing and add a card.
Before your trial ends
Press Add a card in Billing. It opens Stripe's card form, then brings you back to Billing. Beside the button, Billing says what the first charge will be and when: one month for each site on your plan, on the day your trial ends.
Sites you add during your trial join your plan with nothing to pay until it ends, so the first charge is for the sites you really have.
If your trial ends without a card
Your trial pauses. Nothing is deleted. A bar at the top of every page says "Your trial is paused.", with the one step that gets your plan going again:
- Add a card to continue when there's no card yet.
- Update card when your card has expired or was declined.
- Approve payment when your bank wants you to approve the charge on Stripe's page.
- Pay $99 and continue when a card is ready (the amount is one month for each site on your plan).
Your card is charged straight away and a message says "Your plan is running again". A declined card leaves your trial paused and nothing is charged. Teammates who aren't owners or admins see the bar without a button: "An owner or admin can add a card to carry on."
