CitedSEO works on your site every day: it reads your site, finds changes worth making, writes new articles or fixes the ones it wrote, publishes one change a day, and follows how each change does in Google and in AI assistants. You decide how much of it waits for your OK.

Read

When you add your site, CitedSEO reads its pages and works out what you do, who it's for and the topics you cover, and you check what it found. It looks in Google and ChatGPT for the sites you're up against, and asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI the questions it tracks for you, then asks them again every week.

Find

Each day CitedSEO looks through your pages, the searches it researches for you, your Search Console numbers once you connect it, and its AI checks, for changes worth making. Each one is a card in Opportunities, with the reason in plain words, the numbers behind it and an estimated gain. See How the opportunity queue works.

Write or fix

  • New articles for searches you don't have a page for yet. Each is researched, planned, written, fact-checked and illustrated before it can go live.
  • Changes to articles CitedSEO wrote: updates to ones that are slipping or just off page one, a new title and search snippet for ones people see but don't click, and links between related articles.

CitedSEO only ever changes articles it wrote. The rest of your site is read, never edited.

Publish

One article or change goes live each day, at your site's Publish time in Settings › Site details. Every article goes live on your feed, and if you connect WordPress, it goes there as a post too.

Articles on Home at each stage: one written and ready for your OK, one scheduled, and two published

Measure

After something goes live, CitedSEO follows it: when Google reads it again, how its place in Google, its clicks or the AI assistants citing it move, and what it did four weeks later. Home, the Google and AI visibility pages, and a report each Monday morning show where your site stands. Gains on cards are estimates, and results are shown as they are, including "No change yet".

You stay in charge

Every new site starts on Approve first, so nothing goes live until you approve it, and you can let some kinds of change ship on their own in Autopilot. Anything that went live can be undone.
