Copy an article out
Any written article can be copied from its page as HTML or Markdown, to paste into a site or editor yourself.

Open the article in Articles, press Copy at the top of its page, and choose Copy as HTML or Copy as Markdown. The whole article goes to your clipboard, title and cover first, ready to paste into your site's editor. Copying doesn't publish the article or change its label.

Copy is beside Ask for changes on every article that's written: Ready for your OK, Scheduled and Published. While an article shows Writing, it's hidden until there's something to copy. It's hidden on Stopped at its checks too, since that version didn't pass them.
What you get
Images aren't pasted as files: the copy points to each one where CitedSEO keeps it, with its alt text. An image that couldn't be made is left out.
The copy doesn't hold the search snippet. The On Google card on the same page shows the title and description, for your editor's search fields.
Which version you copy
You copy the latest version once it has passed its checks, the one the page shows. While a change to a published article is still being written or checked, or if it stopped at its checks, you copy the version that's live instead, so text that failed its checks never goes to your clipboard.
If the copy doesn't work
A message says "Couldn’t copy the article" when your browser didn't let the page use the clipboard. Press Copy and choose the format again.
Tip: You don't need to copy articles for your site to show them. Every published article goes live on your feed, which your site's own code can read, and is posted to WordPress if you've connected it. See How articles reach your site.
